How to Check Your Total Balance and P&L on Binance App
Having a clear picture of your holdings is fundamental to making sound investment decisions. The Binance App's Portfolio Overview gives you a one-stop view of asset distribution, real-time valuations, and profit/loss data across all of your accounts. This article explains how to make the most of it.
How to Access Portfolio Overview
Open the Binance App and tap Wallet or Assets in the bottom navigation bar. If your app version is outdated, update to the latest release from the APK download page to unlock the full suite of asset-management features.
Total Asset Valuation
At the top of the Portfolio Overview page you will see your total estimated balance. This figure converts every cryptocurrency in every account to a common unit based on current market prices.
You can switch between different denomination units:
- BTC denomination -- displays total assets in Bitcoin
- USDT denomination -- displays total assets in the USDT stablecoin
- Fiat denomination -- displays total assets in your local currency (USD, CNY, EUR, etc.)
The page also shows the change in value over the past 24 hours -- both the absolute amount and the percentage -- giving you a quick snapshot of recent performance.
Account-Level Breakdown
Binance distributes your assets across several account types. The Portfolio Overview displays each one separately:
- Spot account -- assets used for spot trading
- Futures account -- margin and unrealized P&L for derivatives trading
- Earn account -- assets deposited in Simple Earn and other yield products
- Funding account -- assets used for Binance Pay, deposits, and withdrawals
- Other accounts -- pool accounts, margin accounts, etc.
Tap any category to see detailed holdings, including quantity, current value, available balance, and frozen balance for each coin.
Asset Analytics
The Binance App offers visual analysis tools:
Pie chart: Shows each coin's share of your total portfolio. Use it to check whether your holdings are overly concentrated in a single asset, and adjust your allocation accordingly.
Profit & Loss analysis: View per-coin P&L data including average entry price, current price, and unrealized gains or losses -- invaluable for evaluating performance.
Historical balance curve: Tracks how your total portfolio value has changed over time. Choose from 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, and other time frames.
Privacy Features
Checking your portfolio in public? The Binance App has you covered:
- Hide balances -- Tap the eye icon next to your total balance to replace all figures with asterisks
- Hide dust -- Filter out tiny balances to keep the asset list tidy
- Screenshot protection -- Certain sensitive pages support screenshot blocking
