How to Check Your Deposit History on Binance

· ~ 14 min read · ApkPocket Editorial

Whether you want to confirm a deposit has arrived, review past deposits, or export transaction records for tax purposes, you'll need to use Binance's deposit history feature. If you don't have a Binance account yet, sign up for Binance first and download the Binance app — the app is the most convenient way to check deposit records.

Viewing Deposit History in the Binance App

Path 1: From the Wallet Page

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap "Funds" or "Wallet" at the bottom
  3. Find the "Transaction History" button near the top of the page
  4. Switch to the "Deposit" tab
  5. You'll see all your deposit records

Path 2: From the Deposit Page

  1. Tap "Deposit" on the home screen
  2. Select any coin
  3. On the deposit address page, find the "Deposit History" or "History" link
  4. Tap to view

Path 3: Direct Search

  1. Type "Deposit History" in the search bar on the app's home screen
  2. Tap the search result to jump directly to it

Viewing Deposit History on the Binance Website

  1. Log into www.binance.com in your browser
  2. Hover over "Wallet" in the top right corner
  3. Click "Transaction History" or "Fund Records"
  4. Select the "Deposit" type
  5. You'll see your complete deposit history

The web version has the advantage of a larger screen with more detailed information, plus it supports exporting records.

Key Information in Deposit Records

Each record contains the following important fields:

Status

  • Completed: The deposit has arrived and funds are in your account
  • Pending: The transaction has been detected but hasn't reached the required confirmations yet
  • Abnormal: There's an issue with the deposit — check further or contact support

Amount and Coin

Shows the specific quantity and coin name for the deposit. The credited amount may differ from the sent amount because the sender deducted a fee.

Network

Shows the blockchain network used for the deposit (e.g., TRC20, ERC20, BEP20). Checking the network helps troubleshoot deposit issues.

TxID (Transaction Hash)

This is the unique transaction identifier on the blockchain. Clicking the TxID usually opens the corresponding blockchain explorer with detailed on-chain information.

Confirmation Progress

Deposits in Pending status will show confirmation progress, such as "12/20" meaning 12 confirmations completed out of 20 required.

Timestamps

Includes the time Binance detected the transaction and the time the deposit was fully credited.

Filtering and Search Tips

Filter by Coin

If you've deposited many different coins, use the coin filter to view records for a specific one:

  • Select the coin from the filter bar above the record list
  • For example, view only USDT or only BTC records

Filter by Date Range

To find deposits from a specific time period:

  • Set start and end dates
  • The web version supports custom date ranges
  • The app may offer quick options like "Last 7 Days" or "Last 30 Days"

Filter by Status

View records with a specific status:

  • Filter by "Pending" to easily track progress
  • Filter by "Completed" to review history

Using Deposit Records to Solve Problems

Scenario 1: Confirming Whether a Deposit Arrived

After depositing, check your records for the corresponding entry:

  • Entry exists with "Completed" status → Deposited successfully, check your balance
  • Entry exists with "Pending" status → Waiting for confirmations
  • No entry found → Transaction may not have been detected yet, or there could be an address/network issue

Scenario 2: Finding the TxID for Support

When there's a deposit problem, the first thing support will ask for is the TxID:

  1. Find the relevant entry in your deposit history
  2. Copy the TxID
  3. Provide it to support for investigation

Scenario 3: Verifying the Credited Amount

If you think the credited amount is wrong:

  1. Check the credited amount in your deposit record
  2. Compare it with the amount sent from the sending platform
  3. The difference is usually the sender's withdrawal fee

Scenario 4: Exporting Records for Tax Purposes

In some countries and regions, crypto transactions must be reported:

  1. Log into Binance on the web
  2. Go to Transaction History
  3. Select the Deposit type and date range
  4. Click "Export CSV"
  5. Open the downloaded file with Excel

Deposit Records vs. Other Record Types

Binance has multiple types of transaction records — don't mix them up:

  • Deposit Records: Funds received from external sources into Binance
  • Withdrawal Records: Funds sent from Binance to external destinations
  • Trade Records: Buy and sell trades executed within Binance
  • Transfer Records: Internal moves between Binance sub-accounts (e.g., Spot to Futures)
  • C2C Records: P2P buy/sell transactions

If your balance hasn't changed after a deposit, the funds may have gone to a different sub-account (such as the Funding account instead of the Trading account). Check each account's balance in the Binance app to confirm.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are deposit records kept?

Binance retains all records permanently. You can view your complete deposit history going back to the day you registered.

Why can't I find a specific deposit in my records?

Possible reasons: the transaction hasn't been detected by Binance yet (too few on-chain confirmations), the wrong network was selected so Binance can't recognize it, or the address was incorrect. Start by checking the transaction status on a blockchain explorer using your TxID.

Can deposit records be edited or deleted?

No. All records are read-only and cannot be modified or deleted. This is required for security and compliance purposes.

How do I distinguish between multiple deposits of the same coin?

Use the timestamp, amount, and TxID. Each deposit has a unique TxID.

What if the deposit record doesn't match the blockchain explorer?

The blockchain explorer is the authoritative source. If there's a significant discrepancy, contact support through your Binance account.

Security Tips

  • Check your deposit history regularly to make sure there's no unusual activity
  • Don't share screenshots containing deposit address information with others
  • Exported CSV files contain sensitive data — store them securely
  • If you notice an unrecognized deposit entry, change your password immediately and contact support
  • Enable Binance's login notification feature to catch unauthorized access early
